Photo Requirements If you have any questions about your photos, please contact me and I will help you figure it out.
A 1200x1800 pixel image is required to get the best quality for your 4-inch
x 6-inch print (at 320dpi). A higher resolution is even better. A lower resolution may work for a collage design, which incorporates
several smaller size photos.
General tips
Lighting Natural lighting is the best for great photos.Try to take photos early in the mornings or in the evening before the
sun sets, and always use your flash for while outside. Use as much natural lighting as possible, when photographing
indoors and you can use additional lighting to brighten an area.
Keep it Simple Keep the background & clothing as simple as possible. Patterns can be distracting and take away from
the subject of the photo. Place your baby on a light-colored or plain black, non-distracting background.
A light colored blanket is perfect.
Get a Close Up Ensure the subject
of the photo is at eye level and focus on the eyes. Avoid photographing from above when photographing babies and toddlers
- be sure to get down to their level.
Take lots of photos! Sometimes
it takes 100's of photos to get that perfect shot! The great thing about digital is you can delete as you go.
